The ‘special’ Federal Executive Council presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the proposals for the 2019 budget.
The Federal Government is proposing N8.6trillion as the budget for 2019.
Udoma Udo-Udoma, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, made the disclosure to State House Correspondents in Abuja at the end of the FEC meeting convened by President Buhari to deliberate on the matter.
According to Udoma, the next stage was to liaise with the National Assembly to pick a date for the presentation of the estimates by Buhari.
