The senate committee on appropriation and finance on Tuesday submitted the 2017 budget report to the committee of the whole house of the upper legislative chamber.
The report was laid before the house by Senator Danjuma Goje, the Chairman of the appropriation committee.
While receiving the report, Senator Ike Ekweremadu said that the various committees will now harmonise the various documents before transmitting same to President Mohammadu Buhari for assent.
It will be recalled that the report was scheduled for submission to the senate last week Thursday but was called off at the last minute because the committee said the documents were not ready.
