The British Police have identified the attacker in London, Wednesday, as 52-year-old Khalid Masood, a Briton.
The attack in front of the British Parliament left four persons dead, including Masood, while 30 others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the attacker had previously been linked to terrorism and is believed to have been influenced by Islamist ideology.
May vowed that the ideals upholding Britain’s freedom and values will not be affected as a result of the attack while speaking in an address to the House of Commons on Thursday.
The three people who were killed in the attack include an American man, in his 50s, and a British woman, in her 40s, as Masood drove a rental car onto the sidewalk on Westminster Bridge. Masood also stabbed a police officer at Carriage Gates.
A news agency with ties to ISIS said that the terrorist group was behind the London attack.
