Manchester United to honour electrocuted fans in Nigeria on Sunday

Manchester United has announced it will honour some of its fans who died recently in Calabar, Cross River while watching a soccer match involving the club.

The players have promised to wear black armbands in their Sunday game against Swansea City as an extension of their sympathies to the deceased fans and their families.

“The Manchester United FC players will wear black armbands on Sunday in memory of the seven fans who lost their lives recently in Calabar, Nigeria,” the club said via its official Twitter account on Friday
