Senator John Enoh defects to APC from PDP

The senate on Tuesday was thrown into a rowdy session following the announcement of John Enoh, the Senator representing Cross River Central and the Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance that he has defected to All Peoples Congress, APC, from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the party on whose platform he was elected into the senate.

Enoh, announced his defection on the floor of the senate as he informed his colleagues that he has already registered as APC member in his ward.

The announcement elicited cheers from Apc members in the senate and protests from PDP members.

The senate President, Bukola Saraki wish Enoh a happy sojourn in APC in his response.

“I wish him fruitful service to his people on the platform he has chosen,” Saraki said.
