Simon Ekpa arrested in Finland

Simon Ekpa, a self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been arrested in Finland.

A Finland-based newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, reported that Ekpa was arrested by police in his residence located at Lahti, Finland.

He was said to have been scheduled for a newspaper interview before he was picked up by the police.

Recently, Ekpa declared that there will be no elections in the south-east zone of Nigeria, warning of violent attack for those who defy his sit-at-home order.
